THE NATURAL LIGHT STUDIO
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE FOR PHOTO STUDIO AND EQUIPMENT
Effective Date: 1st February 2025
This agreement (“Agreement”) is between Kim May Photography (“Studio,” “We,” “Our”) and the individual or entity (“Client,” “You,” “Your”) renting or utilizing the services of the Studio for photography sessions, including the use of its space, props, and clothing.
By entering the premises of Kim May Photographer or using the Studio’s services, You agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking and Payment
To secure a photography session, You must book in advance and provide full payment for the session + $100 (one hundred dollar) security deposit, refunded after your session, as outlined by the Studio.

2. Studio Use
Your access to the Studio begins 10minutes prior to the start time stated on your confirmation and You are expected to vacate the premise no later than 10minutes after the end time. Failure to do so may result in being charged for the extra time and/or wait time of the cleaner.
The Studio is to be used ONLY for photography sessions. No other activities are permitted without prior written approval.
You agree to use the Studio and all equipment, props, and clothing in a manner consistent with the intended purpose. Any damage caused by misuse or negligence may result in the cancelation of Your security deposit refund and additional charges may apply.
STRICTLY no surrounding areas outside of the studio are to be photographed.
All photography is to be contained with in the Studio ONLY.
3. Use of Props and Clothing
The Studio provides props and clothing for Client use during the session. These items are to be handled with care and respect.
You are responsible for the proper use of the props and clothing. Any loss, damage, or alteration of the items during Your session may result in additional charges to cover replacement or repair costs.
If any prop or clothing item is found to be damaged, You agree to pay a replacement cost as determined by the Studio.
All clothing must be returned in the same condition as it was provided. A general hygiene cleaning fee is built into the hirage, however, You agree to pay for professional dry cleaning services for overly soiled clothing.
The Studio may refuse the use of certain clothing items.
4. Client Conduct
You and your guests agree to conduct themselves in a manner that does not disrupt the operation of the Studio or disturb other clients, neighbours and occupants of surrounding areas.
The use of illegal substances or engaging in unlawful activities in the Studio is strictly prohibited.
5. Photographs + Sharing
The Studio welcomes users to mention, tag, comment or credit the Studio in any marketing, and/or social media to assist in spreading the venues use to other like-minded photographers.
6. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds
Cancellations made 5 days in advance will receive a full refund of both the booking fee + security deposit.
Cancellations made 24 hours (1 full day) before will receive a refund of the booking fee.
Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the booking fee + security deposit.
Rescheduling is possible with prior notice and subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.
7. Liability and Insurance
You agree that the Studio is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or loss of personal belongings while on the Studio’s premises.
You are responsible for the actions of any individuals accompanying you during the session.
The Studio recommends that you carry your own insurance if needed, as it is not liable for personal accidents or equipment malfunctions.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Studio, its employees, and agents against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Studio, equipment, props, clothing, or services.
9. Studio Responsibilities
The Studio will ensure that all equipment, props, and clothing are in good working condition prior to your session.
The Studio will provide a clean and safe environment for photography sessions and will assist with the use of equipment if necessary.
12. Amendments and Modifications
The Studio reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to You in writing.
